Is Visual Explorer free?

We will be upgrading to 7.1.x from 6.5.4 in the next few months. In getting familiar with the upcoming migration, I have been reading about the new Visual Explorer add-on that is a part of the Excel add-in. Is this tool free? Is it installed by default? I have looked through the install guide and I see that Visual Explorer is listed as a "new feature" for release 7.1.

In a webcast I watched on the Hyperion Dev Network (http://dev.hyperion.com/webcasts_demos/webcasts/) it was not clear.

Anyone?

Visual Explorer is an additional fee item. It is pre-installed with the Excel add-in, so you will see it on the Essbase menu, but you will not be able to use it unless your license file grants the appropriate permission.
